What Bold Move Is

Bold Move is a technology platform that connects customers with independent, locally licensed bakery businesses ("Bakery Partners"). Bold Move does not bake, prepare, handle, inspect, package, or have physical possession of any food product at any time. All food is prepared exclusively by independent Bakery Partners in their own licensed commercial kitchens.

Allergen Notice

Bakery Partners operate commercial kitchens that routinely handle major allergens. Bold Move cannot guarantee that any product is free from allergens or cross-contamination.

US — FDA Top 9 Major Allergens

Products may contain or have been produced in facilities that also process: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame.

UK — 14 Regulated Allergens (Food Information Regulations 2014)

Products fulfilled by UK-based Bakery Partners may contain or be produced in facilities that process: celery, cereals containing gluten (wheat, rye, barley, oats), crustaceans, eggs, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, mustard, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame, soybeans, and sulphur dioxide/sulphites. UK Bakery Partners are required to provide full allergen information in accordance with the Food Information Regulations 2014.

The Allergen Card

Every Bold Move consumable product ships with a printed Allergen & Ingredient Card placed on top of the gift. The card includes:

• The sender's name and company
• The Bakery Partner's name and address
• Full ingredient list
• Bolded allergen statement
• Cross-contamination disclosure
• A QR code linking to the live ingredient sheet and bakery contact
• Bold Move incident contact information

If you have a food allergy or sensitivity, do not consume this product without reviewing the Allergen Card and verifying ingredients directly with the Bakery Partner before eating.

Sender Responsibility

Senders are required at checkout to disclose all known allergies and dietary restrictions for the recipient. Senders are also required to attest that they have a legitimate reason to send to the recipient's address and that the delivery location is not a restricted environment (school, hospital, daycare, prison, etc.).

Bakery Partner Requirements

Every Bakery Partner in the Bold Move network must provide, before fulfilling any order:

• Current food handler / food safety certifications
• Current health department inspection record (within 12 months, no outstanding critical violations)
• Product liability insurance: minimum $1M per occurrence
• General liability insurance: minimum $1M per occurrence
• Signed Bakery Partner Agreement
• Complete ingredient sheets for every SKU with cross-contamination disclosures
• Documented allergen-handling SOP
• Tamper-evident packaging for every order

Incident Reporting

If you experience or witness an allergic reaction, foodborne illness, or any safety concern related to a Bold Move product:

• Seek medical attention immediately if the reaction is severe.
• Contact us immediately at hello@getboldmove.com or scan the QR code on your Allergen Card.
• We will acknowledge your report within 5 minutes during business hours, provide the ingredient sheet, and escalate within 30 minutes.
• All incidents are logged, investigated, and reviewed monthly.

Restricted Delivery Locations

Bold Move will not knowingly deliver consumable products to: K-12 schools, daycares, preschools, hospitals, nursing homes, hospice facilities, dialysis centers, prisons, jails, detention facilities, drug rehabilitation centers, or religious institutions during declared fasting periods.

Limitation of Liability

Bold Move expressly disclaims all liability for allergic reactions, foodborne illness, or any other health consequences arising from consumption of products fulfilled through the Platform, as further described in our Terms of Service. Consumption of any food product is at the recipient's sole risk. If you have any concern about a serious food allergy, contact us before ordering.
